Born and raised in Zurich, Switzerland, Vera Freitag Perucchi moved to San Francisco in 2001 to study Film at the Academy Of Art University. She graduated 2005 with a BFA in Cinematography and has since written, produced, directed, shot and edited many award winning music videos, commercials, and short films. Her short Sci-Fi film called "Sound Machine" and her short documentary called "In A Steel Box" screened at various International film festivals. Some of her commercials have aired on TV and screened at landmark theatres. Vera has won an award for best music video director at the Canadian reality TV show "Make It Big". And has since worked for clients such as Capitol Records and United Colors of Benetton. The successful completion of the Professional Screenwriting Program at UCLA and the 101 Spot Lab Group for emerging commercial directors, educated her to write and direct compelling visual content for various film and video formats. She has worked as script reader for Gold Circle Films, a first deal production partner at Lions Gate and is represented by John Andrews at 6 Point Media as commercial director. After living for six years in San Francisco and three years in Los Angeles, she moved back to Zurich, Switzerland in 2010, where she continues to work freelance as writer, director and producer for different productions and tv shows.
