Elisa Cantelli

Born in Florence in 1977. In 1996 graduated in Arts, after attending the public arts school. In the same year attended a professional training course on 'still life photography'.
In 1997 enrol in cinema at DAMS (Discipline of arts, music, and performing arts), Bologna University.
In 2003 makes her first experience in the cooperation programs, documenting some humanitarian projects in Angola, for the Coop campaign "Save a child", and directing a short documentary, 'Acqua Angola', that becomes the subject of her graduation thesis in 2004
Since 2005 transfers to Rome where her main activity becomes editing for movies and television. At the same time continues following humanitarian projects as filmmaker, and recently had some experiences in participatory video.
