Now You See It

Marios, a 34-year-old theoretical physicist from war-torn Cyprus, seeks refuge in quantum theory to escape his displaced family’s painful past. As he dives deeper into research, physics becomes his sanctuary from depression. However, the uncertainty of both his career and the universe itself begins to mirror his inner turmoil. In an effort to bring clarity to the universe, Marios manages to form a team of some of the smartest minds in the world to redefine reality: his mentor Carlo Rovelli, quantum cosmologist Francesca Vidotto, the punk developer of the fastest quantum computer Bob Coecke and others. Through intense exchanges, they grapple with the timeless question: What is real? Amid his frail mental health, family concerns, and a failing experiment in the snowy Alps, Marios faces his breaking point. However, after his colleague wins the Nobel Prize in physics, he finds peace with the randomness of the quantum world and returns home, ready to continue his pursuit.
