Iceberg

The content is divided into three episodes: the first episode is dedicated to the economy. The second episode focuses on three key sectors: energy, food, and mobility. The third episode is dedicated to the goods production sector and the role of democracy. For example, we will discover why Bhutan is the only country in the world that is carbon-negative and its link to the country’s use of the Happiness Index instead of GDP and why regardless of high-levels of income, industrialized countries register low levels of happiness amongst its citizens. We will meet initiatives connecting the world through train tracks or how the movement Social Street is changing the landscape of the streets. Examples in Ireland and Taiwan of deliberative democracy will be presented as a tool to practice real democracy. These contents will be interwoven through new points of view about human history, cultural paradigms or self-imposed definitions about the essence of human nature.
