France

French-Australian-US director Hannah Papacek Harper graduated from the Sorbonne and the University of Lima, Peru in 2015, with a degree in film studies. First a Steadicam operator, she has long been working with the moving image. She is profoundly interested in communication, transmission and representation through sensorial approaches to film. Her experimental video production and photography allow her to create creative collaborations with this in mind. In 2022 she exhibited her alternative cartography project The Persistence of Red at the Anglo- American University in Prague. In 2021, her experimental short film Vegetative won three awards in alternative international film festivals. Her work in progress feature Lost for Words as well as her AR creation Geopoetics, are both tackling the global problematic of our anthropocentric position.
