Beltrán Pérez is a spanish-venezuelan visual creator with a background in Political Science, History and Anthropology of America. He studied Documentary Direction at Madrid’s Cinema School and has received scholarships to study in Italy, Chile, and Ireland.
For the last nine years has been a member of Mecha Cooperative, a Latin-American visual communication collective with a focus on the development and production of animated and
transmedia content from a conscious, innovative and thought-provoking point of view.
He has been involved as an animator, editor, writer, producer, and co-director in series and shortfilms of both animation and documentary that have been selected and awarded in Annecy Animation du Monde, DocMontevideo, MiradasDoc, DokPro Müchen and Conecta Chile.
