Marianna Plomariti (b. 1989) a climate communicator and director based in Athens. She studied political science, journalism, and new media in Athens and Vienna and she specialises in strategic communication, climate policy campaigns and video production, She has worked in the media industry as an editor, casting director assistant, and journalist and for the past years, she's been working for major environmental, value-driven organisations, blending strategic storytelling with visual craft. Her work spans digital campaigns, visual narratives, and non-fiction projects focused on the environment, just transition, and EU climate policy. Since 2022, she has been working on Above the Dust, an immersive documentary currently in production and expected for release in 2026. The project explores resilience and collective memory in coal mining regions in Greece, showing how communities in transition can lead the conversation on change.
