Tomás Sheridan is an award winning documentary director, producer, videographer and educator who focuses on human relationships, social change and the place of individuals in a globalised society.

His films span from Asian steppes to Ugandan villages and from migrant communities in Patagonia to unexpected pregnancies in Scotland but all share a search for our common humanity through the stories that define us.

Documentaries by Tomás have screened at over 60 festivals on four continents including Edinburgh IFF, Doxa Vancouver, Palm Springs ISFF, Sheffield DocFest, Clermont-Ferrand and Moscow IFF as well as being screened, acquired or coproduced by broadcasters such as BBC, Canal+, Arte, PBS and DK.

In 2012 Tomás founded Polifilm Media, a production company whose mission is to use film and education to empower communities, address social and environmental challenges and support companies and individuals with an ethical remit, changing the world one story at a time.
