Trude Ottersen
Norway
Trude runs Koko Film in Tromsø (Northern Norway) where she’s a producer, director and cinematographer. Humor and heart are keywords in her work, and she has a taste for raw and smelly projects. Educated within photography and anthropological filmmaking and has always had a strong interest in the relationship between people, nature and animals. She co-produced and directed "Sealers, one last hunt" in 2016 – which was her debut as a filmmaker. It premiered at IDFA, won the audience prize at TIFF, had theatrical release in Norway and made to a series for NRK. She is now developing several new documentaries, where she again is both the director and DOP. She’s also producing for other directors and work as a freelance-cinematographer – her latest work include "Reconstructing Utøya" (2018) and "Between Us" (2017).
