Clara Camprubi

Barcelona-based filmmaker, specializing in social and feminist subjects such as gender violence, women’s rights, and empowerment.

Clara started working as a camera operator while studying Audiovisual Communication in Barcelona. Moved by social issues, she studied a Social Documentary Masters in ESCAC and improved her editing at the International School of Film and Television in Cuba (EICTV).

She has worked in feature documentaries and television programs as a film editor, script-writer and assistant director. Now she is directing her first feature documentary.

Over the last 2 years, Clara has also worked making short impact videos on social issues for Do, the social initiative department at PlayGround Magazine, the biggest Spanish-speaking social media video company in the world.
