Jacob Dammas

Born in Copenhagen as the son of Polish political refugees, Jacob is a post-graduate of the documentary program at the Andrzej Wajda School of Film Directing in Warsaw where he is working as an independent filmmaker and producer. He also carries a M.A. in Communication Studies after having spent semesters at Ryerson Polytechnic University (Toronto) experimenting with 16mm film, Concordia University (Montreal) engaging in film history and propaganda, and Humboldt University (Berlin) studying media sociology. Jacob is co-founder of the production network of young European filmmakers, GRANIZA, and member of the Polish Filmmakers' Association (SFP).
