I received my Master's Degree in Film Studies at Utrecht University in 2006, after which I started working for the  Dutch national public television broadcaster AVRO. Here, I was a director, editor and producer for several programs in the Arts and Culture Department. Two years ago, I moved to Berlin for new challenges in directing and transmedia storytelling. Since then, next to directing my first feature length film, I work as an independent creative producer with the company Kinomaton on several documentary projects.
