In 2024 ESoDoc will run the 3rd edition of the Inspiration Lab "IMPACT ZONE" at When East Meets West in Trieste, which will take place from January 21 to 24, 2024.
The lab will be led by Think-Film COO Amy Shepherd and Senior Impact Strategist Ugne Pilkionyte and will take participants on a unique impact journey to help their film realise meaningful and measurable change.

Additionally, Joël Jent (ESoDoc 2023) will pitch his project "REBELIÓN DE LA MEMORIA" in the Co-production Forum at WEMW. The project - which won the "WEMW Award" at the final pitch of ESoDoc 2023 held in Tbilisi last December - tells the story of former child soldier Carlitos, who seeks to unite his wartime parents. Between 1980 and 2001, Peru’s Andean highlands were caught in the crossfire between the guerrilla and the state forces. Three people from different sides of the conflict seek their way out of a dark past.
